Online Legal Guidance
This programme will incorporate online guides for the public, based upon life events such as making a will and buying a house. The programme may also be extended to cover the provision of secondary legal source materials - for example, an Encyclopaedia of Jersey Law.

Website Programme
The JLIB website supports several other programmes, notably the Primary Legal Materials Online and Online Legal Guidance programmes. JLIB understand that the website must be accessible to as many users as possible, locally and worldwide, and have worked towards this goal in recent developments. Future enhancements to the website will continue this policy.

Primary Legal Materials Online
This programme covers the work currently being done to capture the entire legislation of Jersey, and also the planned revision of the law. Also included is the online publication of the Jersey Law Reports, and the integration of all primary legal materials through the JLIB website.

Research and Development (R&D)
This programme is intended to be a proving ground for new technologies and initiatives in the legal sector. Each new case will be reviewed on its merits, and if accepted, will be piloted under this programme. Digital Recording and Video Conferencing are already being piloted, and a study is being made of opportunities for a Technology Court in Jersey.

Public Consultation
JLIB is conscious of the need to consult with the public on legal issues wherever possible. For this reason, JLIB have incorporated a separate programme to address Public Consultation, which will support the other programmes. The LINK forum also gives valuable feedback from interested parties.

Streamlining the Civil Justice System
This programme will deal with the internal efficiency of the courts, examine how other systems interact with the court systems, and investigate how the existing infrastructure may allow interaction with other systems. One of the most important court systems to be addressed will be a Case Management system. The programme will also review the status of Tribunals.

This major programme will investigate opportunities to reform the Criminal Justice System, in particular looking at improved management information, workflow and case management tools, and the possibility of common user interfaces and data warehousing
