Jersey Employment Tribunal

Introduction

The Jersey Employment Tribunal (JET) is a judicial body established to resolve disputes between employers and employees over employment rights. Once the outcome of the claim is determined at a formal Tribunal Hearing, the Tribunal will issue a judgment, giving reasons for its decision.

JLIB has recently begun to publish JET judgments going back to 2005. Judgments published retrospectively may not have the same formatting in place as other judgments on this website. However, from 2012 a standard format is being introduced for JET judgments.
