Unreported Judgments

Introduction

An Unreported Judgment (UJ) is the raw judgment handed down by the courts of Jersey, prior to any official or formal publication. All visitors to the website have access to the summary information in the search results, and most of the UJs back to 1998.  The Unreported Judgments can be searched here

If a Jersey Law Report (JLR) is associated with a particular UJ the JLR will be cited in the final column of the search results. Only registered users may access the text of a JLR.

However, earlier judgments and some sensitive later judgments will not be available to unregistered users. These restricted judgments (RUJ) will be held in a secure area only to be accessed by those registered users authorised to do so. A list of professional users entitled to access RUJs can be found here
