Letter To The Editor

Boyd V Pickersgill & Le Cornu

          I refer to the letter to the Editor from Advocate Le Cornu of Messrs Pickersgill & Le Cornu printed in the June 1999 issue of the Jersey Law Review.  I would be most grateful if the Editor would allow me to similarly clarify the formal position of my case for the benefit of your readers.

The Court of Appeal heard the Appeal on the preliminary point in the above case on September 29th, 1999.  The Judgment ruled in my favour and the litigation in the above case is ongoing.

My allegations are that Pickersgill & Le Cornu did in fact not advise me as to the process of licitation at any time.
