About LINK
The Legal Information Network of Knowledge (LINK) is a group of individuals representing
the Courts, judicial departments and law firms in Jersey. It was established by
JLIB in September 1999 to facilitate the two-way exchange of information and ideas
between organisations involved in delivering judicial services and JLIB. The issues
discussed are not legal matters but are largely in relation to information system
developments being pursued by JLIB and the organisations represented on the group.
Appropriately, the group’s acronym is LINK.
On the whole, members of the group are those who are involved in information system
developments in their organisations. The group is chaired by Caroline Perry and
meets on a bi-annual basis. While not a decision-making group, many useful suggestions
have been taken on board by JLIB as a result of LINK meetings.
