JUDGMENT

 

The Respondent shall pay to the Claimant the sum of £800 as damages for breach of contract.

 

 

THE REASONS

 

1.       By a claim form presented on 8 May 2018, the Claimant brought the following complaints:

a.       Wrongful dismissal;

b.      Unpaid holiday pay;

c.       Unpaid wages; and

d.      Failure to provide itemised pay statements,

 (the “Claims”).

 

2.       At a Case Management Meeting, the Respondent accepted that it owed the Claimant £800 for unpaid wages. 

3.       In light of the fact that the Respondent has gone into liquidation, the Claimant withdrew his claims for wrongful dismissal, unpaid holiday pay and failure to provide itemised pay statements.

 

Conclusion

 

4.       The Respondent shall pay to the Claimant £800 by way of damages for breach of contract for unpaid wages.
