THE EMERGENCIES COUNCIL makes this Act under Article 4 of the Emergency Powers and Planning (Jersey) Law 1990 –

The Minister for Health and Social Services is designated as the competent authority in relation to medical supplies for the purposes of Article 8A of the Emergency Powers and Planning (Jersey) Law 1990.
This Act may be cited as the Emergency Powers and Planning (Competent Authority) (Medical Supplies) (Jersey) Act 2019 and comes into force the day after it is made.
