DRUGS (PREVENTION OF MISUSE) (JERSEY) LAW, 1964 (MODIFICATION) (No. 2) (JERSEY) ORDER, 1971.

THE PUBLIC HEALTH COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Article 6 of the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) (Jersey) Law, 1964,1 as amended, (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”) hereby orders as follows :  -

1.             For the Schedule to the Law2 there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.

2.             This Order may be cited as the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) (Jersey) Law, 1964 (Modification) (No. 2) (Jersey) Order, 1971, and shall come into force forthwith.

SUBSTANCES REFERRED TO IN THIS LAW

1.             Amphetamine ; dexamphetamine ; levamphetamine.

2.             Benzphetamine.

3.             Bufotenine.

4.             Cannabinol and its tetrahydro derivatives, prepared wholly or partly by synthesis, and the 3-alkyl homologues of those substances.

5.             Chlorphentermine.

6.             Fencamfamin.

7.             Lysergamide.

8.             Lysergide and other N-alkyl derivatives of lysergamide.

9.             Mephentermine.

10.           Mescaline.

11.           Methaqualone.

12.           Methylamphetamine.

13.           Methylphenidate.

14.           Pemoline.

15.           Phendimetrazine.

16.           Phenmetrazine.

17.           Phentermine.

18.           Pipradol.

19.           Prolintane.

20.           Psilocin.

21.           N,N-Diethyltryptamine.

22.           N,N-Dimethyltryptamine.

23.           2,5-Dimethoxy-4, alpha-dimethylphenethylamine.

24.           Any stereoisomeric form of a substance for the time being specified in any of paragraphs 2 to 23 of this Schedule.

25.           Any ester or ether of a substance for the time being specified in paragraphs 3, 4, 18, 20 or 24 of this Schedule.

26.           Any salt of a substance for the time being specified in any of paragraphs 1 to 25 of this Schedule.

27.           Any substance containing any proportion of a substance for the time being specified in any of paragraphs 1 to 26 of this Schedule, except a living plant or a seed of a plant containing lysergamide or a salt thereof or a living plant containing mescaline or a salt thereof.”
