MISUSE OF DRUGS (DESIGNATION) (JERSEY) ORDER, 1980.

THE PUBLIC HEALTH COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 10(4) and 25(2) of the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law, 19781 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”) and after consulation with the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, hereby orders as follows –

1.      The controlled drugs specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby designated as drugs to which paragraph (4) of Article 10 of the Law2 applies.

2.      This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Designation) (Jersey) Order, 1980, and shall come into force on the first day of May, 1980.

SCHEDULE

CONTROLLED DRUGS TO WHICH ARTICLE 10(4) OF THE LAW APPLIES

1.       The following substances and products, namely –

 

Bufotenine.

Cannabinol.

Cannabinol derivatives.

Cannabis.

Cannabis Resin.

Coca leaf.

Concentrate of poppy-straw.

Lysergamide.

Lysergide and other N- alkyl derivatives of lysergamide.

Mescaline.

Psilocin.

Raw opium.

4-Bromo-2,5,dimethoxy-methylphenethylamine.

N,N-Diethyltryptamine.

N,N-Dimethyltryptamine.

2,5-Dimethoxy-α, 4-dimethyl-phenethylamine.

2.      Any steroisomeric form of a substance specified in paragraph 1 above.

3.      Any ester or ether of a substance specified in paragraph 1 or 2 above.

4.      Any salt of a substance specified in any of paragraphs 1 to 3 above.

5.      Any preparation or other product containing a substance or product specified in paragraphs 1 to 4 above.
