DRUGS (PREVENTION OF MISUSE) (AMENDMENT) (JERSEY) LAW, 1972.

A LAW   to amend the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) (Jersey) Law, 1964, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

 

1st day of NOVEMBER, 1972.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law:  -

ARTICLE 1

After paragraph (5) of Article 5 of the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) (Jersey) Law, 1964,1 there shall be added the following paragraph –

“(6)        Any person who imports a substance for the time being specified in the Schedule, without a licence, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both such fine and such imprisonment.”

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) (Amendment) (Jersey) Law, 1972.
