Control
of Housing and Work (Exemptions) (Covid-19 –
Temporary Amendment) (Jersey) Order 2020

Coming into
force 18th April 2020
THE CHIEF MINISTER makes this Order under Article
27(3) of the Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law 2012[1] –
1 Amendment of the Control of Housing and Work (Exemptions) (Jersey)
Order 2013
(1) After
Article 4(1)(b) of the Control of Housing and Work (Exemptions) (Jersey)
Order 2013[2] there is inserted –
“(ba) providing cover,
for a period not exceeding 3 months, for a person who is not able to work
in or for the undertaking as a result of leaving Jersey due to the outbreak of
Covid-19;”.
(2) After
Article 4(6) of that Order there is inserted –
“(7) Paragraph (1)(ba)
expires on 30th September 2020.”.
2 Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited
as the Control of Housing and Work (Exemptions) (Covid-19 – Temporary Amendment) (Jersey)
Order 2020 and comes into force the day after it is made.
