(Public Parking Places) (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Order 2016

THE MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, in pursuance of Articles 59 and 84
of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order “principal Order”
means the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places) (Jersey) Order 2006[2].
2 Controlling
bodies
In Article 1(1) of the principal Order, for sub-paragraphs (b)
and (c) of the definition “controlling body”, there are substituted
the following sub-paragraphs –
“(b) the
Minister for Education in the case of the parking places STHA3, STS4, STS5,
STS6 and STS7;
(c) the Minister for Economic Development,
Tourism, Sport and Culture in the case of the parking places STB5A, STB28,
STB29, STH6, STH21, STH29, STH30, STH31, STH32, STC6 and STS3; or
(d) the Minister for
Infrastructure in any other case;”.
3 Springfield
South Car Park
In Schedule 2 to the principal Order –
(a) in Part 4 the entry “STH31”
is deleted;
(b) in Part 13, after the entry “STB3A” there is added the entry “STH31”.
4 Moignard Liberation Garden Car Park
(1) In Part 9
of Schedule 1 to the principal Order, after the words “Millbrook,
Coronation Gardens Car Park STL3” there are
inserted the following words –

“Moignard Liberation Garden Car
Park

STL3A”.

(2) After
Part 9 of Schedule 2 to the principal Order there is inserted the
following Part –
The maximum parking period in
respect of the following parking places between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on
any day is a total period of 3 hours. A valid parking disc must be
displayed on the vehicle during the period when it is parked there.

5 Hautlieu
School and Highlands College Car Parks
(1) In Part 11
of Schedule 1 to the principal Order, at the end after the words “Grainville
Playing Field Car Park STS3” there are
added the following words –

(2) In Part 4

6 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places)
(Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Order 2016 and comes into force 7 days
after it is made.
