1 Social Security (Health
Bonus Scheme) (Jersey) Order 2016 amended
This Order amends the Social
Security (Health Bonus Scheme) (Jersey) Order 2016.
2 Article 1 (interpretation) amended
In Article 1(1) in the
definition “admission date” there is substituted –
“admission date” means –
(a) the date a person is
admitted to the health bonus scheme under Regulation 6(3) of the Health
Bonus Regulations; or
(b) in the case of a person
admitted to the health bonus scheme under Regulation 6(4) of the Health
Bonus Regulations, the date that person was admitted to the Jersey 65+ health
plan;”.
3 Article 2 (eligibility for health
bonus: income and capital thresholds) amended
In Article 2(1)(b)
for “£30,000” there is substituted “£64,000”.
4 Article 3 (value of health bonus
payable under the Health Bonus Regulations) amended
In Article 3 –
(a) in paragraph (1) for
“, admitted to the health bonus scheme under Regulation 6(3) of the
Health Bonus Regulations, is entitled is as specified in Table 1 of the
Schedule” there is substituted “is entitled is as specified in the table in the
Schedule”;
(b) paragraphs (2), (3)
and (4) are deleted;
(c) in paragraph (5) for “£30,000”
there is substituted “£64,000”;
(d) after paragraph (10)
there is inserted –

6 Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Health Bonus Scheme)
(Amendment) (Jersey) Order 2023 and comes into force on 1st September 2023.
