Road Traffic (St. Peter) (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Order 2021

THE MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, after consultation with the Connétable of St. Peter, makes this Order under Articles 62 and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1] –

1        Interpretation

This Order amends the Road Traffic (St. Peter) (Jersey) Order 1992[2].

2        Schedule 2 (prohibition of waiting) amended

In Schedule 2, in the item “Le Vieux Beaumont” for the entry in the second column that begins “East side from” there is substituted –

“East side (from its junction with La Rue du Craslin to a point 304 yards in a northerly direction)

East side (from a point 317 yards north of its junction with La Rue du Craslin to the northern boundary of the property known as Beconsfield House)”.

3        Schedule 2A (maximum waiting periods) amended

In Schedule 2A –

(a)     for the heading “Vehicle” in the first column there is substituted “Road”;

(b)     before the item beginning “La Ruelle es Ruaux” and the entry relating to it there is inserted –

“Le Vieux Beaumont, on its east side (between a point 304 yards north of its junction with La Rue de Craslin and a point 13 yards further north)

A continuous period of 12 hours

Periods totalling 12 hours within any period of 24 hours”.

 

4        Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (St. Peter) (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Order 2021 and comes into force 7 days after the day it is made.
