THE MINISTER FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, TOURISM, SPORT AND CULTURE makes this Order under Articles 4 and 14 of the Places of Refreshment (Jersey) Law 1967, Articles 9 and 32 of the Tourism (Jersey) Law 1948, and Article 12 of the Weights and Measures (Jersey) Law 1967 –

1        Places of Refreshment (Registration) (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2008 amended

In Article 1 (registration fee) of the Places of Refreshment (Registration) (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2008, for “£97.00” there is substituted “£99.00”.

2        Tourism (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1990 amended

In Schedule 1 (fees for registration or renewal of registration) to the Tourism (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1990 –

(a)     in row 1, in the second column, for “£7.88” there is substituted “£8.08”;

(b)     in row 2, in the second column, for “£5.24” there is substituted “£5.37”;

(c)     in row 3, in the second column, for “£7.31” there is substituted “£7.49”;

(d)     in row 4, in the second column, for “£4.39” there is substituted “£4.50”;

(e)     in row 5, in the second column, for “£5.51” there is substituted “£5.65”;

(f)      in row 6, in the second column, for “£4.39” there is substituted “£4.50”.

3        Weights and Measures (Testing Fees) (Jersey) Order 2003 amended

For the Schedule to the Weights and Measures (Testing Fees) (Jersey) Order 2003 there is substituted –

4        Citation and commencement

(1)     This Order may be cited as the Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture (2024 Fees) (Jersey) Order 2023.

(2)     Article 2 and this Article come into force on 8th October 2023.

(3)     Articles 1 and 3 come into force on 1st January 2024.
