Harbours (Amendment No. 40) (Jersey) Regulations 2006

Coming into force                                                     1st January 2007

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Harbours (Administration) (Jersey) Law 1961[1], have made the following Regulations –

1        Schedule 1 amended

For Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Harbours (Jersey) Regulations 1962[2] there shall be substituted the following Part –

“PART 2

Charges for goods remaining on a harbour longer than the period specified in Part 1 of this Schedule

Description of goods

Daily charge

1.       Flats, trailers, containers and equipment:

 

          Not more than 3 metres long

£14.01

          More than 3 metres long but not more than 6 metres long

£28

          More than 6 metres long but not more than 7 metres long 

£32.68

          More than 7 metres long but not more than 8 metres long 

£37.34

          More than 8 metres long but not more than 10 metres long 

£45.68

          More than 10 metres long but not more than 12 metres long

£56.02

          More than 12 metres long

£63.49

2.       Vehicles

£11.51

3.       All other goods

£19.16 for every 10 square metres of space or part thereof occupied by such goods”.

2        Revocation

The Harbours (Amendment No. 39) (Jersey) Regulations 2005[3] shall be revoked.

3        Citation and commencement

(1)     These Regulations may be cited as the Harbours (Amendment No. 40) (Jersey) Regulations 2006.

(2)     These Regulations shall come into force on 1st January 2007.
