What are Privy Council Judgments?

The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC) is the final court of appeal for the Crown dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man), for UK overseas territories and military sovereign base areas and for certain Commonwealth countries.

In order to improve the facilities offered, this website now contains links judgments of the JCPC from 1830 where the JCPC sat as the court of final appeal on cases from Jersey or Guernsey.

The links are to judgments contained on the BAILLI (British and Irish Legal Information Institute) website which provides free access to the most comprehensive set of British and Irish primary legal materials available.
