Air Navigation
(Jersey) Order 2008 (Revocation) Order 2014

In force in
accordance with Article 1
HER MAJESTY, in pursuance of
the powers conferred on Her by sections 60 (other than
subsection (3)(r)), 61(1) and (2), 77, 101, and 102(1) and (2) of, and
Schedule 13 to, the Civil Aviation Act 1982, as extended to
the Bailiwick of Jersey by the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Jersey) Order
1990[1], and
section 35 of the Airports Act 1986, as extended to
the Bailiwick of Jersey by the Airports Act 1986 (Jersey) Order
2000[2], is pleased, by
and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:
1 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Jersey) Order 2008
(Revocation) Order 2014 and shall come into force on the date of coming into
force of the Air Navigation (Jersey)
Law 2014[3].
2 Revocation of the Air Navigation (Jersey) Order 2008
and savings of Rules of the Air
(Jersey) Order 2000 and licences, etc.
The Air Navigation (Jersey)
Order 2008[4] is revoked but –
(a) the Rules of the Air (Jersey) Order 2000[5] continued under the Air Navigation (Jersey) Order 2008
remain in force as if made under Article 46 of the Air Navigation (Jersey) Law 2014[6] until new Rules of the Air
are made under that Law; and
(b) any
licence, permission or approval or other authorization granted by the Director
of Civil Aviation under the Air
Navigation (Jersey) Order 2008[7], as that Order has effect in
Jersey, shall continue in force as if granted by the Director of Civil Aviation
under the Air Navigation (Jersey)
Law 2014[8].
