(Safe Distancing – Exception and Revocation of Suspension) (Jersey) Order 2020
1 Revocation of suspension
The Covid-19 (Safe
Distancing – Suspension) (Jersey) Order 2020 is revoked.
2 Exception for childcare
(1) As
an exception to Regulation 2(1) of the Covid-19 (Safe
Distancing) (Jersey) Regulations 2020, a person does not breach safe
distancing if the persons who gather consist solely of –
(a) one individual; and
(b) one or more children for
whom that individual has responsibility as a childcare worker.
(2) In
paragraph (1) “childcare worker” means –
(a) a teacher;
(b) a social worker;
(c) a day carer within the
meaning of the Day
Care of Children (Jersey) Law 2002; or
(d) any other person employed
in a similar occupation of which the care of children forms a significant part.
3 Citation and
commencement
This Order may be cited as the Covid-19 (Safe Distancing – Exception
and Revocation of Suspension) (Jersey) Order 2020 and comes into force on the day
after it is made.
