Food Safety
(Analyses) (Jersey) Order 1967

The Official Analyst
shall retain for a period of 3 months that one of the 2 parts of any sample
submitted to the Official Analyst in accordance with the provisions of Article 34(1)
of the Food Safety
(Jersey) Law 1966 (hereafter referred to as the “Law”) which the
Official Analyst has not analysed.

The certificates to be
delivered under the provisions of Article 34(8) of the Law shall be in the
form set out in the Schedule to this Order.

This Order may be cited as
the Food Safety (Analyses) (Jersey) Order 1967.[1]

Here the Official Analyst should
specify the result of the analysis in the light of the Food Safety (Jersey)
Law 1966.

Here the Official Analyst may
insert, at the Official Analyst’s discretion, the Official
Analyst’s opinion as to whether the analysis indicates any physical,
chemical or other properties bearing on the nature, substance or quality of
the article; whether the article is injurious to health or unfit for human
consumption; whether and in what respect a label or description or any
advertisement relating to the sample is incorrect or misleading; and the
Official Analyst may add any other observations that the Official Analyst
considers relevant.
