THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 18 of the Matrimonial Causes (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Law 1996,1 have made the following Act –

1.             The Matrimonial Causes (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Law 1996 shall come into force on the first day of April 1997.

2.             This Act may be cited as the Matrimonial Causes (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Law 1996 (Appointed Day) Act 1997.
