THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Police Court (Change of Name) (Jersey) Law 1996,1 have made the following Act –

1.             The Police Court (Change of Name) (Jersey) Law 1996 shall come into force on the first day of April 1997.

2.             This Act may be cited as the Police Court (Change of Name) (Jersey) Law 1996 (Appointed Day) Act 1997.
