GAMBLING (CHANNEL ISLANDS LOTTERY) (AMENDMENT) (JERSEY) ORDER 1997

THE GAMBLING CONTROL COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Article 3 of the Gambling (Jersey) Law 1964,1 as amended, and Regulations 10 and 11 of the Gambling (Channel Islands Lottery) (Jersey) Regulations 1975,2 as amended, has made the following Order –

1.             In Article 8 of the Gambling (Channel Islands Lottery) (Jersey) Order 19973 –

(a)     in paragraph (1) for the words “paragraph (2) of Regulation 10” there shall be substituted the words “clause (i) of sub-paragraph (a) and (b) of paragraph (2) and (4) of Regulation 10”; and

(b)     in paragraph (2) for the words “paragraph (5) of Regulation 10” there shall be substituted the words “sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (3) of Regulation 10”.

2.             This Order may be cited as the Gambling (Channel Islands Lottery) (Amendment) (Jersey) Order 1997 and shall come into force on the twenty-ninth day of October 1997.
