MAIN ROADS (CLASSIFICATION) (No. 24) (JERSEY) ACT, 1981.

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 1 of the “Loi (1914) sur la Voirie”, as amended,1 have made the following Act –

1.      The roads and lengths of road listed in Part I of the First Schedule to this Act are hereby classified as main roads (“grandes routes”).

2.      The roads and lengths of road listed in Part II of the First Schedule to this Act shall cease to be classified as main roads and, accordingly –

(a)    in the “Acte avec Liste des Chemins Publics considérés Voies de Grande Communication dans les différentes Paroisses de l’Ile” made by the States on 15th March, 19342 for the entry “Roseville Street (trafic d’Autobus)” in the first column under the heading “ST. HELIER” and the entry “645” opposite thereto there shall be substituted the entries “Roseville Street (La Route du Fort to Colomberie)” and “365”;

(b)    the Main Roads (Classification No. 16) (Jersey) Act, 1971, the Main Roads (Classification No. 18) (Jersey) Act, 1972, and the Main Roads (Classification No. 22) (Jersey) Act, 1974 are hereby revoked.3

3.      This Act may be cited as the Main Roads (Classification) (No. 24) (Jersey) Act, 1981.
