THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 9 of the Police Force (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law, 1982,1 have made the following Act:  -

1.      With the exception of Article 3,2 the Police Force (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law, 1982 shall come into force on the first day of May, 1983.

2.      This Act may be cited as the Police Force (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law, 1982 (Commencement) Act, 1983.
