THE STATES, in pursuance of paragraph (2) of Article 8 of the Teachers’ Superannuation (Jersey) Law, 1979,1 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”) have made the following Act –

1.-(1)  The Law, except Articles 2, 3 and 4,2 shall come into force on the twentieth day of August, 1986.

(2)     Articles 2, 3 and 4 of the Law² shall come into force on the first day of September, 1986.

2.             This Act may be cited as the Teachers’ Superannuation (Jersey) Law, 1979 (Appointed Day) Act, 1986.
