Traffic (Parking Places – Charges) (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Order 2020

THE MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE makes this Order under Articles 59
and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1] –
1 Interpretation
In this Order “principal
Order” means the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places – Charges) (Jersey) Order 2017[2].
2 Article 1
(interpretation) amended
In Article 1 of the principal Order –
(a) the definition “hybrid
vehicle” is deleted;
(b) for the definition “low
emission vehicle” there is substituted –
“ “low emission vehicle”
means any vehicle that emits no more than 50 grams of carbon dioxide per
kilometre;”;
(c) paragraph (3)(a) and (b)
is deleted.
3 Article 2 (charges for
parking units) amended
In Article 2 of the principal Order –
(a) in paragraph (1) for “80.95”
there is substituted “82.86”;
(b) in paragraphs (2) and (3)
for “40.95” there is substituted “41.90”.
4 Article 3 (charges for
season tickets) amended
In Article 3 of the principal Order –
(a) in paragraph (1) for
“130.762” there is substituted “133.81”;
(b) in paragraph (2) for
“65.38” there is substituted “66.90”;
(c) in paragraphs (3) and (4) –
(i) for “65.38” there is substituted “66.90”,
(ii) for “32.69” there is
substituted “33.45”.
5 Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited
as the Road Traffic (Parking Places – Charges) (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Order
2020 and comes into force on 1st March 2020.
