TOURISM (GENERAL PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT No. 9) (JERSEY) ORDER 2002

____________

 

                THE TOURISM COMMITTEE, in pursuance of the Tourism (Jersey) Law 1948, as amended,[1] orders as follows -

 

                1.      For the First Schedule to the Tourism (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1990,[2] as amended,[3] there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.

 

                2.      The Tourism (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 8) (Jersey) Order 20013 shall be revoked.

 

                3.      This Order may be cited as the Tourism (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st October 2002.

(a)    Premises graded under Article 20 of the Law -

 

 

         (i)       1 Sun

£4.35 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

         (ii)      2 or 3 Suns

£5.65 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

         (iii)     4 or 5 Suns

£7.60 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

(b)    Registered (ungraded) premises

£4.35 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

(c)    Premises awaiting grading

£5.65 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

2.      Guest House Register -

 

 

(a)    Premises graded under Article 20 of the Law

£4.10 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

(b)    Registered (ungraded) premises

 

£4.10 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

(c)    Premises awaiting grading

£4.10 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

3.      Self Catering Accommodation Register

£5.65 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

4.      Youth Hostel Register

£3.35 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

5.      Holiday Camp Register

£4.35 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises

 

6.      Camp Site Register

£3.35 multiplied by the number of persons who can be lodged on the premises”.
