1 Road Traffic (Public Parking Places) (Jersey)
Order 2006 amended
This Order amends the Road Traffic (Public
Parking Places) (Jersey) Order 2006.
2 Article 1
(interpretation) amended
In Article 1(1), in
the definition “controlling body”, sub-paragraph (c) is deleted.
3 Article 5 (parking
charges) amended
For Article 5(1) and
(1A) there is substituted –
(1) A
person must not park a vehicle in a parking place specified –
(a) in
item 1 of the table in Article 8A(2), unless a valid season ticket, valid
pay card or valid permit is displayed on the vehicle or a valid remote payment
has been made;
(b) in
Schedule 3 (other than a parking place also specified in item 1 of
the table in Article 8A(2)) during the pay period specified in that
Schedule in respect of the parking place, unless a valid pay card or valid
permit is displayed on the vehicle or a valid remote payment has been made.
4 Article 8B (prescribed
excess charges) amended
In the table in Article 8B(2) –
(a) the row for item 3
is deleted;
(b) the row for item 4 is
renumbered as item 3.

commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places)
