Cremation (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2007

1        Cremation fee

The fee for cremating the remains of a person is –

(a)     nil if the person was under 18 years of age at death; or

(b)     £738.50 in any other case.[1]

2        Medical certificate fee

The maximum fee that a registered medical practitioner may charge for completing the medical certificate required by Regulation 6(a) of the Cremation (Jersey) Regulations 1961 and set out in Schedule 2 or 3 to the Regulations is £82.[2]

3        Citation

This Order may be cited as the Cremation (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2007.
